Tell us about yourself: My name is Stephanie. My husband and I have a 6 year old Dutch Shepherd, Loki, and her 18 month old pup, Boca. My sister has another one of her pups, Charger, who is a Blue Dutchie. My husband and I were married on May 27, 2012 and Loki was in the wedding, of course. We live in San Diego with Loki, Boca and our 9 year old pit-mix, Bailey. We have very understanding landlords.

Hi! I'm Stephanie, from Cardiff By The Sea, CA, about 30 miles north of San Diego.

My husband and I have a 6 yr old Dutch Shepherd named LOKI; an 18 month old Malinois named BOCA (Loki's puppy - Loki's great-grandmother was a Malinois) and a 9 year old Pit-Mix named BAILEY who feels like the odd-dog-out because her ears don't stand up. Another one of Loki's puppies, CHARGER, is owned by my sister and lives a few miles away. He's a beautiful Blue Dutchie.

My husband, Chad is a dog trainer and Loki and Boca are his demo-dogs. Chad and I got married a couple months ago and Loki was in the wedding of course. Here are a few pics of our fur family. Nice to meet you all! I'm excited to learn a lot! Thanks,

Tell us about yourself: I have a small kennel breeding working line Dutch Shepherds, and just stumbled on this forum while browsing the internet. We train our dogs in police K9 work primarily, with hopes of being able to compete in the near future.

Tell us about yourself: Rescued our first DS male on Dec 27, 2011. Approx 4 yrs. Rescued from NADSR. His name is Odin. Adopted a 2nd DS from NADSR June 27, 2012. Kai - 6 months.

Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.

Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.

Tell us about yourself: French native who moved to United States 20 years ago. I'm very active in K9 search and rescue with my German Shepherd Dog, Bavo. We're certified as a wilderness trailing team by Carda and by Mendocino County Sheriff. We can be deployed anywhere in California or in any other State if needed.
My dog is about to retire and I'm now ready to search for the perfect puppy to continue my hobby and to do some Schutzhund. I'm hoping to get more information on Dutch Shepherd and their ability to work scent.

Tell us about yourself: Dogs are my life, what can I say. GSDs primarily for nearly 50 years til bringing in my first DutchShep about 4 years ago. GSD rescue for 9 yrs, nearly 200 thru my home, rehabbed, adopted out. Been involved in AKC ob, herding, tracking, agility; Schutzhund-DVG; scent detection (HR-water)&narcotics, some patrol work. Mostly herding training at present on my little farm.
