Tell us about yourself: I live in Metro-West Boston with my husband and our rescued Dutch Shepherd, Minnie. She loves anything involving activity. Our first rescued DS, Kaya, loved to tug. Our second rescued DS (who actually turned out to be a GSDx), Marley, loved to nap. I volunteer for the North American Dutch Shepherd Rescue and am a member of the NADSR BOD.

Or, maybe, someone has some frequent flier miles they're not going to use?

Just putting it out there: it needs to be a flight rather than members (if any were available) making connections with each other on the road (as it usually is)?
Though I can only hope to become the person who my animals believe I am, the things that they have taught me have made me a better human being. ~~~Sharon~~~

Yes. California to Massachusetts. I was hoping to go out, but it's more of a schedule issue. I think she'll have to fly solo. But, sssshhhhh. Still trying to iron out the details.

American Airlines give a good military discount on air cargo for military members. If you have a person with military ID ship or pick up, you'll get 50% off of the bill. Make sure you confirm the crate size with available aircraft. That's where I messed up.

The snow keeps coming & coming & coming... ...with negative temperatures, °F and °C!

If I didn't have to pay for my plane ticket to CA, I'd go out and get her (and pay for her shipping, of course)!
