Ultimate Air Dog Maumee Ohio
Anyone in the area (Since I know there are quite a few of you MI people around!) planning on attending the Ultimate Air Dog even in Maumee Ohio this weekend?

- Tell us about yourself: I have a 12 week old dutch shepherd that my trainer got for me to train in schutzhund. This is my 1st dutch shepherd, I have always had german shepherds. Currently, I have 4 dogs.

I'm going! I only wish Nami were ready for such an event! We still have quite a bit of desensitizing to do before she's ready for a crowd of this nature.

There's a USDAA agility trial and my 4-H kids have fair all weekend, so I'll be back and forth here. 
I am however planning on being in Ohio Oct. 3rd-4th with both Dutch doing Lure Coursing and Nosework at least. It's in Wapakoneta, where ever that is.
I'd love to get more into dock diving. Odin won't jump off the dock in front of the crowds. He's great in practice, but he doesn't see the point in going off the dog when the ramp is faster and easier to get his toy from. Elli, well, Elli sinks to the bottom. The first time she went swimming she followed Odin in and we saw Odin and then some bubbles behind him. We've gotten her a few life jackets, but she keeps sliding out since she's so long and butt heavy. She loves crowds and is super toy motivated. If only I could combine the two.
