Tell us about yourself: I adopted a Dutch Shepherd mix (without knowing what she was) from the SPCA here in Victoria BC and am now trying to learn everything I can about this breed. My husband and I work from home most of the time so I thought it was time to get a puppy! We have his 2 boys here half the time and we wanted a nice family dog.

Sugar looks like a miniature Dutch Shepherd with floppy ears, and has every ounce of DS traits in her little body!

I hope to learn from other DS owners and share doggy experiences.
Location: Victoria BC

Marco wants to say: thanks for the nice compliments and a "sitz" is a "sitz", even if the water is almost up my chin

and since he is Dutch, his name is more a tribute to Marco Van Baasten, the Dutch soccer player, but Marco Polo is certainly a nice connection too. :wtg:

Well, just my weird sense of humor.

Sorry, I didn't know the game. I didn't grow up on this side of the Atlantic. But this explains why guys named Marco ,I came across, are not so thrilled about their names. Probably always got teased with the Marco! Polo!

Well, I picked one that was taken in winter time so it's fits the time of year... I like my "dingo in the storm" pic better, but I've posted that so many times already...
