Tell us about yourself: DS and Mal foster newly approved aug'12 by NADSR and ABMCR. high-functioning Autistic in nyc/hamptons in my 60's. Rescued the smartest dog i had ever seen off nyc street in 2000. Tracedog's intelligence exceeded by multiples my judgement that day. My first [and only as of 10/2012] dog turned out to be a DS, perhaps with a touch of something else, but attention to detail, behavioral traits, and physical habits, movement, and skill identical to DS. But MUCH more intellectual ability. supremely confident in all settings, fearless, very outgoing and social with people and friendly with dogs. Seldom apart in over 12 years, Trace Dog was the most important relationship of my adult life; he was my partner. yes there are a whole bunch of very cute dogs. aside from the unusually high number of irresistible puppies and aside from my prejudice for my own crew all screaming ''pick me!'', i am really drawn in by Odin's blocking action/request for inclusion by laying on the suitcase. he looks so sweet and adorable even while overly caffeinated - a great expression.

Tell us about yourself: My name is Emily. I am the mother of two girls (human!!). We have one beagle named Charlie who is three and a new puppy named Asha. She is about 9 weeks old and we think she is a Dutch Shepherd Dog mix.

LOL. i guess i should do a formal photo intro as Stephanie requested months ago. i think i have thousands by now. but having 3 DS puppies has been and is such a handful to say the least! so today Tracer and i just finished our 1st ever session with an actual trainer [ rather than my informal talk-to-the-dogs methods].

well, i love my crew of 3 with their 3 very distinct personalities showing through a little bit in their poses, but i vote for ODIN. his photo shows such great spirit - as i indicated earlier - and now Odin and his family need our support; so putting him on the masthead with such an endearing portrait is a nice way to show some solidarity. Good Luck and best wishes to Stephanie in her struggles with Odin's care.

You're totally right John, I already voted for your crew (cause it was so darn funny), but Odin's pic definitely shows the playful/intelligently comedic side of the breed. Asha says "Vote for Odin! Rah Rah Rah!"
