- Tell us about yourself: Parent of a rescued pup, Epona. She was abandoned with 6 of her siblings in the woods without any food or their mama. She's definitely a mix but it looks like she has some features of a DS! She loves to chew on things and is very hyper!
Rescue Puppy
Hi everybody! I'm new to this forum. I adopted a puppy, Epona, and I'm bringing her home in a few days! I'm so excited and I'm in love with her already! I'm sure she's a mix, but she seems to have some DS features also. What do y'all think? I have no idea about her age, but she has all baby teeth and no molars yet. I understand that there's no way of telling what she is exactly, but I'm curious about what other DS owners think. I love her no matter what she is though! She's a sweetie and right now she loves to chew on everything including my hair! Here are some pictures I took of her at the foster.

Here's another picture of her standing. She's around 15lbs. I'll have to weigh her again!

She is super cute. What ever the other breed(s) she has in her, I would say would be a smaller dog. Her legs are short for a taller breed. SHe has the big ears of the DS though

Thanks Dutchringgirl! Epona does look smaller to me too! I'm guessing she's a mix of some kind of shepherd and some smaller breeds. I'm looking forward to see what she will look like as she grows

- Tell us about yourself: I am a husband and father of 3, one bouncing boy and two fur-babies (one Dutch Shepherd/Malinois Mix and one Alaskan Malamute). I am military and have experience training and working with detection and protection canines although I am not a working dog handler. My Dutch is just over 2 years old. I have spent countless hours training our dogs and enjoy the work. Both have strong drive and motivation towards training but enjoy being rambunctious when I am away.

Looks like a DS mix to me, even with the white. When mine was a pup he looked disproportioned at times but he grew into things like his ears, legs and paws.
