- Tell us about yourself: We adopted our dutch shepherd 2 weeks ago and unfortunately need to re-home her. I am a mom, Children's Church leader, and school teacher.
We need to re-home our puppy :(
We adopted our 5 month old, female, Dutch Shepherd puppy two weeks ago, but unfortunately we now need to find her a loving new home. She may be a Dutch Shepherd mix, but she looks like a DS, so don't know what the "mix" part would be. Does anyone know of someone interested in this cute, really smart, energetic, affectionate pup? She loves people but is not yet socialized with other animals.

Rescued the smartest dog i had ever seen off nyc street in 2000. Tracedog's intelligence exceeded by multiples my judgement that day. My first [and only as of 10/2012] dog turned out to be a DS, perhaps with a touch of something else, but attention to detail, behavioral traits, and physical habits, movement, and skill identical to DS. But MUCH more intellectual ability. supremely confident in all settings, fearless, very outgoing and social with people and friendly with dogs. Seldom apart in over 12 years, Trace Dog was the most important relationship of my adult life; he was my partner. you need to load good pics of her. also helpful would be under what circumstances you adopted her, why you are not keeping her, more info on her in general, and where you are located. also, if she is DS, maybe NADSR can be of help.

Where are you located? Perhaps there's a volunteer that can come and ID her for NADSR. Also, if she's spayed, NADSR will courtesy list your dogs if you keep her until an adopter is found, regardless of the breed. Both my Elli and Odin were NADSR courtesy listed dogs.
