Let the boy out. It's dark; motion detector light works unreliably. I didn't see him tear off but heard those wolf feet tear away as they only do when he's seen something. "Leave it!" The light came on and saw him down by the woods trying to get behind shed. "LEAVE IT!" Light goes off. I didn't know what he was after.
Thor runs back up and on the deck where I was----and didn't that crazy squirrel run back up behind him and do a drive-by????? And Thor's off again! "LEAVE IT!" Just then light came on again and I saw the squirrel zip around next to me with Thor's nose so close it was probably touching his tail--but the boy let him go and ran up on the deck. I opened the door to let him in first.
Once in, he turned around to look at me like everything's normal and fine--but saw the look on my face and put his head down...and ever-so-quietly slipped in the other room.
So, the squirrel probably had to change his pants but he didn't get shaken to death and flung. However, it took three commands (well, the third was because the squirrel ran back up, but still....).
