She totally can't catch the Dutchie. Of course, my little girl isn't called Turbo for nothing.

- Tell us about yourself: My name is Karen and I have a dutch shepherd, Xander, born 6/14/13. He is my second dutch shepherd. My first was Rawly. Even though Xander is my second I still have a lot to learn. That is why I'm here, to learn, get advice, and meet people who love these guys as much as I do.

Awesome, Dusty. Good job. Great dogs.
Though I can only hope to become the person who my animals believe I am, the things that they have taught me have made me a better human being. ~~~Sharon~~~

I bet they sleep a few hours after they play like that. Mine will run full tilt chasing eachother then just crash and sleep the rest of the day it seems. I used to do what the trainers said, one dog at a time, doing training with me for it's exercise- yawn. Let them all out and let the chaos takeover!

They do play until they drop. Haha. Then they guzzle water, drag out every toy in the toy crate, use the couch as a trampoline, go up the front stairs and down the back, cover each other's heads in drool, and then hurl themselves to the floor or someone's lap, panting, until they fall asleep.
Which is good, because when it hits about 11:00, all I have to do is say, "Ok, guys, crate" and they all get up and go to their crates with no sass.

Sounds like yall have a good schedule. And they are well trained. I tell Xander bed instead of crate and in the bed with me he goes. If anyone wants to give me crap about him sleeping with me go ahead. He is a great bed buddy and he still respects me and is very well behaved. And I love the suggles.
And I would love to see a pic of the exhausted drool dogs sleeping on the couch. That would be hilarious.

Once Thor reached a point (OB, respect, boundaries, etc.) he was allowed in bed and on the couch with an invitation. AWESOME BODY PILLOW in the bed, and on the couch, he sleeps ON me, covering me like a blanket. If positioned just right, the pressure he asserts on my bad back is heavenly.
If he's snoozing with the old man on the couch, he doesn't do that. (Two men canoodling on the couch together? Please! And the drool spots on the couch from sleeping with Dad have become................stains.
