Living the dream on a small farm in North Carolina.
Dapper and Stryker were bred once, had a litter of 9 pups, Big Bear was my keeper. Worked hard for 6 months in 2018 taking care of the litter and finding perfect homes for each pup. It was an enormous responsibility that I did not take lightly. Dapper is now spayed (I will share my feelings on that topic another time, in another place).
Dapper("Brave" in Dutch) has long hair and is of military lineage-sharp nose, highly intuitive, will defend under pressure. Strong willed as hell. Absolutely an amazing girl. I call her "The queen of happiness". Her spirit is unbreakable.
Stryker remains intact, is of KNVP/Schutzhund/police lineage. Lives to bite. Full of raw instinct. Very sensitive and eager to please. I also joke that he is a bit of a princess.
Big Bear has been neutered. He is exceptionally and totally loyal to me, as I raised him from birth. He tolerates other people but has no interest in them and does not like being pet by strangers. He is my boy through and through. Obedience is his biggest strength, especially his turn-on-a-dime, virtually foolproof recall. But again- only for his mama. This trust and devotion is so precious to me. I'm as attached as he is.
I have been through a lot with my dogs, and I am very proud of them. They are a part of every moment of my life.
PHOTO- from left- Big Bear, Dapper, Stryker. Its hard not to post a photo of each to showcase their beauty, but I'll leave it at this for now.
