Facebook page.Anyway, Boaz now has a UKC Level 1 Rally Obedience title! His scores were 84, 94 and 97. He even managed a 2nd place at 10:30 pm. What a trooper! I'm going to continue playing this "game" with him until he meets my standards. LOL! I definitely would not have expected those scores from his performance. I guess it's been a long time since I showed a beginner dog.
But Boaz is really starting to enjoy meeting all the people at these shows who stop to admire him and give him little scratches. But, who wouldn't love that.
And he's getting much better around dogs since I played the "Look at that!" game during Monday's agility class. I modified it to be the "who's that?" game. At the show, I didn't have a clicker, but when I said "Who's that?" he would turn to me and wag his tail. We were both much more relaxed with all the other dogs around. I tried the game a couple of years ago with my Malinois, though, and it did not work. She has a very high-strung/nervous personality.
